Craigs astrological studies began in 1974, inspired by a character in the book Macroscope. 

He is an accomplished Evolutionary Astrologer, holding a Master Astrologer Certificate of Accomplishment  from Steven Forrest’s Evolutionary Astrology Apprenticeship program. 

Craig’s interests include Astrology, Permaculture Design, Tantric Kriya Yoga and Contact Improvisational dance. He also writes software. He is graduate of the Ipsalu Tantra Teacher’s Training (1998),  and is an ordained minister of the Celtic Witan Church (2012).

What is Evolutionary Astrology?

Evolutionary Astrology presumes that we are here to “evolve”. Astrological birth charts can give us specific instructions on what we need in order to grow on our individual soul journey.

Evolutionary Astrology (EA) generally assumes that human beings contain something in ourselves that is not limited to the body we have. For convenience, EA usually refers to the mysterious something as our “Soul”.

EA also assumes that the soul remembers feelings from ‘past lives’ and that we are influenced and shaped by those feelings and emotions that predate our physical body. EA Astrologers put a lot of emphasis on describing these old patterns, how they influence us - for good and for bad - and what we can do to move past the old conditioning of these patterns. This is considered the purpose of the soul and is described in the birth chart as the Moon’s North Node.

So an Evolutionary Astrology reading will focus on the Nodes of the Moon as a key to understanding ‘past lives’, their influence on who we are now, and the soul’s plan for growth in this life.
